LAKE OCONEE — Dec. 1 through Dec. 2

Lake Oconee Baptist chapel invites the public to join in a weekend of spiritual, uplifting songs by Miles Pike. There will be a pre-concert celebration on the first with hotdogs. On the second Miles Pike will begin his performance with the 11 a.m. service.

Dec. 1

The Ladies’ Ministries of Crossroads Baptist Church of Eatonton, 106 S. Wesley Chapel Road, will host their monthly community-wide, Ladies Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. Joni Tabor will be the special guest for this event. Breakfast will be served. At 7 p.m. The Plaza Arts Center will host the Soldiers For Christ Music Festival. Tickets are $15 per person or $12 per person for a group of 10 or more. The musical groups will include The Museum, Second Chance and Against the Down Pour. The concert is to benefit The Christian Family Center.

Dec. 7 through Dec. 9

Harvest Baptist Church, 642 Old Phoenix Road, Eatonton, will present a live drive-through Nativity. The celebration will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The free event will feature ten Biblical scenes with costumed actors. For more information, contact (706) 485-6640.

Dec. 7

First Baptist Church, Eatonton, will host the Max Noah Singers of Georgia College at 7 p.m. The free concert will feature “Carols for a Small World”. For more information, contact (706) 485-3331.

Dec. 8 and Dec. 9

Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, 1971 S. Main St., Greensboro, will present The Hope of Christmas with a celebration of songs and nostalgic and meaningful worship. The celebration on Dec. 8 will take place at 6 p.m. and the celebration on Dec. 9 will take place at 10:15 a.m.

Dec. 15

Lake Oconee Lutheran Church, 1089 Lake Oconee Parkway, Eatonton, will present a free Christmas Concert at 7 p.m. There will be contemporary Christmas music selections. Brad Rudisail will direct the concert.
