LAKE OCONEE — Dec. 13

The First Presbyterian Church in downtown Greensboro is hosting a Blue Christmas service Thursday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome, regardless of church background. If you or someone you know, has suffered a loss; be it a loved one, a relationship, a job, economic security, or any other life altering challenges, they are welcome to come to this service.

The Blue Christmas Service is a simple, casual time for reflection, worship, singing, and prayer offering hope and comfort for those needing God’s special touch during the holidays. Dr. Jim Choomack will give a joyful, hopeful sermon and Mrs. Donna Kicklighter will provide music. This service will encourage the participants to move from despair to hope. Greensboro Presbyterian feels this service will bring comfort, and be a reminder that our hope in God is greater than our pain.
