Do you belong to a non-profit? Civic or community organization? Museum? School or charity, or otherwise need to raise funds for your organization? The Georgia Writers Museum is hosting a community-wide event.
Author and professional fundraising consultant, Linda McNay, will be at the museum Thursday, Sept. 19, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. McNay has worked with Georgia Tech, the High Museum of Art, and Emory University, among others. In her 12 years working as an independent consultant, she has worked with more than 150 clients. She is experienced in capital campaigns, planned giving, membership, annual planning and development. Working mainly with nonprofits, she has helped educators, the arts, human services, and faith-based organizations to plan and develop strategic ways to raise the funds that their group needed to survive or progress.
McNay has also authored several books that will be available for sale. Seating is limited, tickets are $10 per person and are available online at www.georgiawritersmusuem.com.
The Georgia Writers Museum is located at 109 N. Jefferson Ave. (Highway 441), Eatonton, Ga., across from the courthouse.
