ATLAS Ministry continues to grow in the services provided to families and in having outstanding staff members to carry out the goals of the organization.

Nicholas “Nick” Rucker, a native of Hartwell, has been named as the new Family and Friends coordinator. He moved to the Lake Oconee area in 2004. In addition to his responsibilities at ATLAS, he has his own massage practice at Franks Chiropractic Center, serves as an ordained pastor and counselor. Rucker moved to the Lake Oconee area in 2004. He and his wife Tiffany have been married for eight years and have two children, Tyler and Anna. He is excited about the opportunity to serve the families of Greene County through ATLAS Ministry.

Rebecca Epps moved to Greene County in 1996. She and her husband Justin have been married for 12 years and have three children, Richard, Lanie and Tristan. Before starting at ATLAS, Epps worked in accounting for a construction company for the past 10 years. She is a member and Elder at First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro where she is also the children’s Sunday school teacher and youth leader. Epps is very excited about the new path that God has put before her at ATLAS where she will be working as the office manager. Other responsibilities include assisting with the Family Service Team and assisting in development and fundraising.

Sheila Brown cheerfully greets visitors and families alike at ATLAS where she is the new front desk receptionist. She is married to Frank Brown Sr. and is the proud mother of three children, Shetrelra, Frank Jr. and Jennifer) and the proud grandmother of 6-year-old A’Niyah. Sheila is an active member of the Hill Chapel Baptist Church and a firm believer in prayer. She faithfully lifts the community, her family and the ATLAS staff in prayer.

ATLAS is pleased to have these new staff members as a part of their team serving clients and the Greene County community.

ATLAS Ministry Inc. is a non-denominational, Christian nonprofit organization serving Greensboro and the surrounding area. ATLAS, through its Family Services Division, works with local families who are deeply committed to change, helping them to reach vital life goals. Additionally, through the HOPE Division, the organization teaches values and life principles for success to students within our local school system.
