The Pray for America Rally 2.0 is a continuation of the historic Pray for America Rally that was held at Greene County High School on Saturday, Aug. 29, where 13 local pastors of all denominations took turns praying for our God to restore health, peace and prosperity to our wonderful country and to heal our Land.
Approximately 30 pastors joined the group photo and approximately 400 citizens were in attendance.
The approach for Pray for America Rally 2.0 is for Greene County and Putnam County pastors to lead in this effort by encouraging their congregation, friends and neighbors to join the Pray for America Rally 2.0 on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at each of their churches.
The churches participating will be gathering together waving a Pray for America sign and praying to God. The Rally will again be guided by II Chronicles 7:14 to pray together, humble ourselves, mend our ways, ask for forgiveness for our sins and for healing our land.
Churches that have not returned to in-house services are encouraged to participate in a virtual service at the scheduled time or to individually pray on their own. There is a way for everyone to join this community prayer for God’s help.
All churches are invited to participate and to send photos of their Rally to email@example.com for inclusion in the final newspaper article.
