Lake Oconee Quilt Guild member Kay Spores is shown with her quilt, which will be on display at Quilt-Fest, Friday and Saturday, March 28-29 in Greensboro at Georgia’s own Festival Hall. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be more than 125 quilts on display that were made by members, some of whom produce exquisite works of art. For a special treat, a fascinating gallery of antique quilts and antique sewing machines will be available for viewing. The LOQG will have quilts for sale and a boutique of handmade gifts and baked goods. Tickets are $7 at the door.
