The Men’s Golf Association winter season came to an end on Feb. 29. The season is referred to as the Mudders Cup, and if you played golf from December through February you know why the name applies. For three months the carts stayed on the paths and the golfers slopped through the mud. It was a tough battle to crown a champion. Gerald Swartz came out on top with Larry Askew and Glen Smith close behind. The opening of MGA Cup began on March 7 with the opening day scramble. The group played two weeks after and have been shut down since. The MGA is scheduled to resume on April 18.
